The Redwood is conducting a door-to-door fundraising campaign! You may encounter our face-to-face fundraisers from Public Outreach who are going door-to-door in your neighbourhood!
How can you tell if a fundraiser is legitimate?
All canvassers will be wearing a red branded vest with The Redwood’s logo displayed prominently on the back and front along with a visible ID badge displaying their name, and photo. The Public Outreach fundraisers will use electronic tablets to process your gift.
What is the sign-up process?
The fundraisers will submit the gift information which will then be processed by The Redwood. For monthly gifts, the first gift will begin on the recurring monthly date selected. Your gift will be confirmed by an email receipt sent immediately following this. You may also receive a call from The Redwood if we encounter any problem processing your gift.
How will my privacy be protected?
The Redwood uses Constant Contact to send out emails and Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge to store information you provide. From time to time, we may send you emails with updates about The Redwood’s work and/or fundraising appeals that we think you may find interesting using the email address that you have provided. We will always give you the option to unsubscribe from future emails, with any email we send you. You can also contact us to stop receiving mail, emails and/or phone calls from The Redwood.
